Since starting my journey at eClerx in 2010, I have evolved tremendously – both personally and professionally. Being a woman leader in Finance is far from easy, but with the exposure and far-reaching scope for growth at eClerx, my role has expanded far beyond project management. I have had the opportunity to be chosen for a Leadership Development Program where I was coached 1x1 by an industry expert on relevant professional, social and life skills. eClerx is invested in my growth, and I hope to carry forward the equal opportunity and growth mindset culture of eClerx.

As women, our personal responsibilities are constantly evolving, and eClerx takes the initiative to not only support its workforce through flexible work options, but also identify and provide what women need to grow professionally. I began my career at eClerx in 2009 as a technical documentation specialist, and later had the opportunity to try my hands at something very different when I transitioned to L&D where I was responsible for manager development. I now manage partnerships with online learning solution providers and tier-1 universities for our flagship ‘Skill of the Year’ program. eClerx promotes learning and development at every stage of an employee’s career, and this has made my journey extremely enriching and fruitful.

I first joined eClerx over 12 years ago, including a 4-year career gap that I opted for by choice. The 4-year break notwithstanding, learning and growth opportunities at eClerx never stopped. I have had eClerx's unfailing support in my professional and personal life, from the new experiential learning transformations we have created in Knowledge Management to the flex working hours. Opinions and ideas are not just encouraged, they are expected and valued. The drive for continuous learning and innovation along with the immense diversity in the firm is one of eClerx's greatest strengths.

As a former athlete and now in my professional career, I have always been excited by the idea of taking on new challenges. The support from my colleagues and exposure to an exciting and fast-paced business environment has helped me identify personal and professional goals. eClerx has given me the opportunity to develop in my role as an HR professional, and supported me to pursue my passion of coaching basketball. I have the flexibility of scheduling my work hours around my middle school girls’ team’s games so I can be fully focused when I am coaching. Being part of an organization that encourages balance has improved my productivity and ability to make a positive impact on those around me both professionally and personally.

eClerx has been a fantastic place for me to establish my career. In a span of 2½ years, I had the opportunity to take on an APAC HR role, got married and had a baby, all with the unwavering support of eClerx. I feel respected, understood and valued, and have access to all the resources and training I need to deliver my best. I have the liberty to make decisions, give suggestions and voice my thoughts, and in this process, I have discovered so much about my capabilities and strengths, which makes my role even more rewarding.
