After my MBA at IIM Indore, I took up a business development role at another organisation in the industry, and moved to eClerx a year later. Here, I found a role that matched my skill set in the field of my choice. My very first assignment here was on machine learning – and it was a great opportunity for me to be exposed to a future-forward technology at a very early stage in my career. After an MBA in Marketing from IBS, ICFAI University (Hyderabad), I joined eClerx in 2016 as a Process Manager – responsible for a team of 20 Analysts that delivered competitive intelligence to two clients, a Fortune 500 technology major and a Fortune 1000 software company. A year later I took a leap of faith and transitioned to a new practice that was being established for driving domain and market intelligence. Many would have thought that the new role, as an individual contributor, was a step back – but I have always believed that you need to take big risks to win big. In the new role I was curating actionable insights from best-in-class research sources, and it’s here that I was able to understand the digital marketing ecosystem holistically. I have leveraged my understanding of digital marketing to contribute to the firm’s corporate blog, get quoted in industry blogs, and more importantly, assist senior managers with just-in-time research and insights that translated into client delight.

I joined eClerx in 2018 with a dual MBA in Marketing and HR and a short sales and marketing run at another company. I started out at eClerx in a support role for global client engagement managers, but after just a year, I was also put in charge of all HR programs for one of the largest accounts in the firm’s Financial Markets vertical, primarily covering onboarding-offboarding, project transfers and project-resource extension processes for over 600 employees. Managing two roles in tandem can be challenging, but the support from peers, managers and leaders coupled with the plethora of learning opportunities that the company offers made it an enriching experience. eClerx instils a sense of leadership in every individual, at every level. For a company like eClerx to have faith in me so early in my career has been a gratifying confidence booster.

After completing a Bachelor of Science in IT from University of Mumbai, I freelanced as a web developer for a year. I joined eClerx as a Senior Analyst in mid-2016, for a role in the Digital Analytics cluster. With no prior exposure to digital analytics, eClerx invested significantly in my development by sponsoring me for an intensive training on Adobe Analytics Implementation – delivered by Adobe Consultants at their office in Bangalore. From that point, there was no looking back as I was egged on to learn Digital Analytics Reporting, Digital Analytics Implementation, Mobile Analytics, A/B Testing, and now most recently a leading DMP (Data Management Platform). I have been able to deepen my expertise every year, not only by making the most of the vast array of formal and informal learning opportunities, but by applying and refining that knowledge via delivery for multiple accounts. I’ve worked on complex projects for accounts from diverse industries (telecommunications, financial services, travel and leisure, online retail) and that’s added depth and width to my understanding of digital analytics. I can’t think of any other firm where I would have been able to build such a strong foundation in so little time.

In 2019 I graduated from ICFAI business school, Hyderabad with an MBA in Marketing.
