My 8-years journey at eClerx has been a tremendous learning experience. I joined as a Senior Analyst, and from the very start, I was entrusted to work on the risky EMEA equity markets. The open environment at eClerx fosters trust and transparency, which enabled me to master live processes of almost 16 markets within a year and steadily progress to manage teams across EMEA, APAC and EU in equity and FX markets. Within the first few years, on the personal front, I became a mother of twins. The rich learning opportunities at eClerx persuaded me to continue working until the last month of my pregnancy. Despite a break in my career (maternity leave), my managers believed in my capabilities and potential, and trusted me with critical responsibilities on my return. The accelerated exposure at eClerx means that what I learn here on the job in one year, would take 3-4 years at most other firms.

I joined eClerx straight after my MBA in 2018, and after a formal induction training, was placed on a complex modelling and forecasting project where I was given further focused training. Within a span of two years, I was deemed skilled enough to lead my project, train new project recruits and become the link between onshore and offshore. This was primarily because of the ample scope for development at eClerx through on-the-job and role-specific training with SMEs. I was also able to leverage knowledge gained from basic and advanced classroom training modules like Data Analytics, Tableau, Excel, SQL, Conference Call Management and Presentation Delivery, and apply it to my role, which has helped me progress much faster than my contemporaries in other firms.
